Alumina production (hereinafter - PG) has a large volume of waste "of red mud" with pH = 9,8, which contains approximately macronutrients (%): Fe - 53, Al – 11.6, Si – 4.5, Ti – 5.0, Ca – 8.9, Na – 2.2, Mg – 0.8, K - 0.3, Zr - 0.08, P - 0.5, V - 0.19, Cr – 0.6, Mn – 0.29; and microelements (g / t): Cu - 5, Be - 10, B - 50, S - 4, Co - 0.2, Ga - Sc 30 - 30, La – 20, Ce - 30, Mo – 20, Y - 80, Ni - 20. This waste is not only a huge threat to the environment, but also contains a large economic potential when used as a part of certain of salts, as commercial products. Return of of the desired product - alumina in process, effective cleaning of of technological process equipment will give an opportunity to significantly (by more than 10%) to increase economic efficiency of production and improve the ecological situation of the environment.
